Before the official previews for Bloomburrow begin, Magic: The Gathering’s lead designer Mark Rosewater, known as Maro, has shared a sneak peak with partial information, including new mechanics in a blog post yesterday.
The previews revealed that counters will play a significant role in Bloomburrow, with types including blight, coin, finality, flood, flying, indestructible, loyalty, stash, stun, and supply.
This is the first time we’ve seen supply counters, which sound a bit like the stash counters introduced in New Capenna.

Some of this information was previously spoiled during the preview panel over the weekend at MagicCon: Amsterdam. It had already revealed the cycle of uncommon lands that each reference four creature types.
Maro confirmed that Bloomburrow previews will officially begin next Tuesday, July 9, at 9:00 AM US PDT on the MTG Twitch account.
