It’s that time of spoiler season again! Magic’s head designer Mark Rosewater dropped his traditional pre-release teaser for the upcoming Tarkir: Dragonstorm set today, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come before official previews kick off.
Among the most surprising revelations are cards supporting Turtle typal strategies and the return of delve, a powerful graveyard mechanic that allows players to exile cards from their graveyard to reduce a spell’s cost.
The teaser also hints at a game-winning condition involving +1/+1 counters on Dragons and some unusual creature types, such as a legendary Zombie Snake Warlock.

The Tarkir: Dragonstorm spoiler debut season begins on March 18 with the full visual card gallery revealed March 28. Important dates for the set are as follows:

- Magic Academy: April 4–June 5
- MTG Arena Release Date: April 8
- Worldwide Tabletop Release: April 11
- Commander Party, Round 1: April 11–17
- Magic Presents: Spring Flourishes: April 18–May 4
- Tarkir: Dragonstorm Store Championship: May 3–June 1
- Commander Party, Round 2: May 16–22
