Anime is back in MTG, and in a big way! Every single Foundations Jumpstart booster pack will contain at least one anime-inspired Magic: The Gathering card.
Foundations Jumpstart is a supplemental set product releasing alongside MTG Foundations on November 15, 2024. Foundations Jumpstart continues the popular Jumpstart series, following the original 2020 release and Jumpstart 2022.
This format offers a streamlined way to experience Magic’s diverse themes from across its history, without needing to build decks from scratch. The gameplay is straightforward: each player combines two booster packs and shuffles them together to create an instant deck. While primarily designed for one-on-one matches, the format also accommodates multiplayer games.
