Magic: The Gathering is venturing into the world of pop culture again with a new Universes Beyond Secret Lair. This time, we are getting reskinned classic Magic cards themed around Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
The new Secret Lair was announced exclusively through IGN earlier today. There will actually be two different Monty Python Secret Lairs to collect, featuring a total of eight reprints and one reskinned token.
According to IGN, “One drop will have five cards total, one of which is double-faced so you can choose if it’s either an African or European swallow, while the other will have three cards and a token.”
Below are all the new Monty Python and the Holy Grail MTG cards contained in the Vol 1 and Vol 2 Secret Lair.

Also included, but not yet officially revealed, are two bonus cards for the Monty Python and the Holy Grail Secret Lair. Cow-tapult / Goblin Bombardment is the bonus card for Vol 1, and Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog / Kezzerdrix for Vol 2.
According to IGN, The Monty Python and the Holy Grail Secret Lair Drops will release on July 29 as part of a greater Super Drop series. There will be both foil and non-foil versions available.
For those who can’t wait, the Hasbro Plus booth at San Diego Comic-Con this week will offer a limited quantity of the foil versions for sale.
