Magic: The Gathering announced the Pixel Perfect Extra Life 2024 Secret Lair today. To the surprise of many, it’s reprinting one very high-demand Commander card: Fierce Guardianship!
The Pixel Perfect Extra Life 2024 Secret Lair will showcase 2D retro video game-style art by Mike Burns. Each card in the drop features Fblthp fighting against MTG’s archenemy, Nicol Bolas.

As we can see, each card in the Pixel Perfect Secret Lair tells the story of Fblthp battling Nicol Bolas, from venturing across mana geysers, to being hit by a Lightning Bolt, countering his spell, and finally defeating Bolas with a Delayed Blast Fireball.
Each card also shows a retro 2D illustration of Ajani Goldmane next to the card ability text.

As of the time of writing, the reprint value for the cheapest version of each of the reprinted cards in the Pixel Perfect Extra Life 2024 Secret Lair is as follows:

The Pixel Perfect Extra Life 2024 Secret Lair will release on October 14th and be available for sale through November 17th.
This Secret Lair is part of the fundraising collaboration between Magic: The Gathering and Extra Life. Extra Life was founded in 2008. Per Wizards of the Coast:
Extra Life is an annual fundraising event where people from all sorts of gaming spaces come together to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. 100% of all donations go directly to Seattle Children’s Hospital in support of their Autism Center, and it’s a great way to give to those in need through the community you love.
The sale price for Pixel Perfect Extra Life Secret Lair is $29.99 for non-foil and $39.99 for foil editions.
The bonus card for Pixel Perfect Extra Life 2024 has not yet been revealed.
