Magic: the Gathering just had a big oops moment earlier today when they accidentally spoiled what looks like a special reprint of Jace, the Mind Sculptor releasing in the Bloomburrow set.
In a WPN article showcasing a new Pinfinity FNM Upgrade Kit, a now deleted short video was originally included that revealed an incredibly grainy preview of Jace, the Mind Sculptor as a fox. See a screenshot below.

The absence of details in the WPN article concerning the Jace, the Mind Sculptor image, has spurred player speculation, with many suggesting it could be sourced from the Courageous Critters bonus sheet.
However, if we look at the set symbol for the bonus sheets, it isn’t a match. It does come somewhat close to the Commander expansion symbol.

As previously announced for Bloomburrow, “Courageous Critters showcase treatment invites you to envision renowned Planeswalkers and creatures were they to visit the plane of Bloomburrow!”
If it isn’t from the Courageous Critters sheet, it may be simply part of the “augmented reality” animation technology of the new Pinfinity pins. According to Pinfinity, through their app, the pins can “Play video/animation”, which could have been the point of the short video in the article.
If this is the case, it’s weird that the video showcasing the Jace Pinfinity animation was immediately deleted after players pointed out the new card art and version if it isn’t a spoiler from the set.
The original purpose of the WPN article was to promote a new Pinfinity upgrade kit for FNM.
According to WPN, “Each kit includes eight items total: six Pinfinity AR-enhanced collectible pins with two unique designs (three pins for each design), and two full-sized metal Commander tokens not available anywhere else. The pins and tokens can be scanned with the Pinfinity app to reveal animation, music, and downloadable goodies.”
Here’s a look at the new Pinfinity Bloomburrow pins.
